Returning Home

Returning Home

A gentle practice of becoming aware, returning to yourself, and finding your way home.

Returning Home

Life often carries us outward.

Into responsibilities.
Into plans.
Into worries.
Into the many demands of daily living.

Without noticing, we can drift far from ourselves.

Returning Home begins with a simple act:

A pause.
A breath.
A listening.

Awareness is not something we create.

It is something we remember.

It is the quiet recognition that beneath the movement of life, something in us has always remained present.

The bell is not calling you somewhere new.

It is inviting you to notice where you already are.

Perhaps this moment asks for nothing more than that.

To pause.
To listen.
To become aware.

The Inner House is never far away.

It travels with you wherever you go.

Sometimes we simply forget its presence.

And so we return.

Not through effort.
Not through striving.
But through awareness.

Each breath returns you.
Each moment of presence brings you closer.

The path is already beneath your feet.

The lamp is already lit.

The door is already open.

All that remains is to take the next step.
